" SCANDINAVIA IN A NUTSHELL "
......we arrived in Copenhagen in Denmark on July 3rd. After 3 nights exploring and cycling thru this " 2-wheel friendly " city, we took a flight to Stavanger in Norway where we hiked up the seemingly neverending stone-steps 604 meters above the Lysefjordan fiords below, to the remarkable " Pulpit Rock " .
Got onto the " Norway in a nutshell " package to the beautiful breathtaking view of the fiords villages of Bergen and Alesund.
July 14th, we departed Norway to Amsterdam and then by July 17th , some of us already craving for nasi lemak and hokkien mee !
Looking into the waters of Norway...
Everyone made new friends ...... as the Malaysian group (4) met up with the US group of 7 in Copenhagen where we started our adventure .
Mostly met for meals, and that's quite often !
However after Bergen in Norway we had to part as the US group decided to go further up north to witness the " midnight sun " and the M'sian group venture on to beautiful Alesund and bustling Amsterdam.
Much of this trip was planned months ahead to take advantage of the cheaper air fares and summertime peak season accomodation bookings. And thanks to "whatsapps" we could plan, keep in touch and update everyone !
